Learner Strategies in Second Language Acquisition
Abstract
It is every teacher's wish to help his or her students become proficient in English. More often than not teachers find students having difficulty in learning English. After using several approaches, methods or techniques, teachers often wonder why students do not learn what teachers teach. There is a gap between teaching and learning. Teaching strategies may not be compatible with learning strategies. While teachers develop strategies of teaching, students have their own strategies of learning.
