Games for Primary School Children
Abstract
Most of the games mentioned below will give both children and teachers a lot of fun. We cannot hope that our pupils will make much progress in learning English simply by formal teaching of grammar items from the syllabus. They need to enjoy themselves, to move about both inside and outside the classroom, and to be exposed to the informal language of their teachers who, we hope, will keep up a constant commentary on what is happening, in simple language.
