Approaches to Listening Comprehension
Abstract
In this article I will illustrate various approaches to listening or aural comprehension. As Theodore Hue-beau said, “The aim of the first step in language teaching is to establish audial comprehension.” Listening comprehension thus should not be neglected as a learning activity even at a more advanced level.
