Composition Writing in a Primary School
Abstract
In many studies of language development, the usual approach has been to analyse mean sentence length, mean clause length and subordination ratio. Subordinate clauses, in turn, are divided into noun, adverb and adjective types, and the frequency of each type is studied. Adverb clauses are further classified according to different categories of meaning.
