A PRACTICAL TASK FOR IMPROVING BUSINESS WRITING THROUGH COLLABORATION
Abstract
This paper presents the theory and the operation of a collaborative, learner-centered, multi-step writing task that I have used successfully in Taiwan for several years in teaching English business writing. The task would be helpful for business writing teachers seeking an innovative approach to encourage learner autonomy of the teacher, collaboration with classmates, and improvement of audience analysis in the writing process.
